Numerous events will take place in Athlone and throughout County Westmeath to mark National Heritage Week 2023 from Saturday, August 12 to Sunday, August 20.

Over 40,000 graveyard memorial records are now being released as part of Galway County Digital Mapping of Graveyards Project.
