The Galmont Hotel & Spa enjoyed a windfall of wins at the 2024 Irish Hotel Awards, scooping prestigious accolades including: Four Star Hotel of the Year; City Hotel of the Year; Excellence in Service; and Great Irish Breakfast at the ceremony held at Johnstown Estate in Meath.

Queen’s College Galway Rugby Club was founded in 1874, 150 years ago, making it the oldest rugby club in Connacht.
