Lifeboat sees action again last weekend
On Saturday evening (July 12) a shout went out at 6.57pm for two craft aground on the east shore of Inch McDermott. The RNLI Lifeboat was launched at 7.06pm. At the scene it was found that a 30ft cruiser had had engine problems and drifted ashore. A passing 80ft barge went to give assistance and went aground herself.
