Many universities offer general and more specialised business degrees. There are also international commerce courses, which allow you to study a general commerce degree with a language – French, Spanish, German or Gaeilge. itag’s Digital Women Forum, a leading community-driven forum dedicated to empowering women in the technology industry, successfully hosted an engaging and thought-provoking event on the topic of Equity of Opportunity. The event took place in the Victoria Hotel May 11 and used innovative and collaborative unconference techniques to foster inclusive discussions and drive meaningful outcomes.

The AtlanTec Festival, Ireland’s annual tech community festival, which opened this week, is supported by University of Galway and organised by the non-profit association itag (Innovation Technology AtlanTec Gateway).

The 2023 AtlanTec Festival Connected Future - Unlocking Potential of a Digitally Connected World, will include an AI Summit: Exploring Ethics in AI for Trustworthy and Responsible Use. The AI summit will take place in the Bailey Allen Hall, University of Galway on May 17 starting at 830am.

itag’s AtlanTec Festival is back this year as an in-person event. The 2023 Festival takes place from 8 - 18 May. Over ten days itag looks forward to hosting key events across the region and online sessions will also be available.
