Brass does Broadway this weekend

St Patrick’s Brass Band will present its summer spectacular in Galway’s Clayton Hotel this Sunday, June 22, with a night of big brass, bold voices and Broadway magic.

This vibrant musical evening will blend the powerful sound of brass with the soaring voices of guest singers Madeline Fleming and Padraig Connaughton, delivering a dazzling celebration of show tunes and stage classics.

St Patrick’s Band is Galway city’s premier brass band. It has been teaching and performing music for Galwegians (as well as nationally and internationally ) since its inception in 1896.

As a community-based organization, St Patrick’s Band is immensely gratified to share some well-known musicals’ greatest hits with the people of Galway, spreading inclusion, participation, and enjoyment through the magical medium of music.

From the drama of Phantom of the Opera, to the energy of Les Miserablés, and the timeless charm of The King and I and Jesus Christ Superstar, Brass Does Broadway will transport audiences straight to the heart of the theatre district – with a bold, brassy twist.
