World Irish Dance Championships are dazzling Dublin

The Lord Mayor of Dublin, Emma Blain, together with Dublin City Council, is honoured to announce that Dublin is serving as the host city for this year’s Oireachtas Rince na Cruinne.

The 2025 CLRG (An Coimisiún le Rincí Gaelacha ) World Irish Dance Championships is taking place at the Dublin Convention Centre until Sunday, April 20.

The event has welcomed over 4,000 competitors along with their families from a wide range of countries spanning across the globe who will compete in more than 50 separate competitions.

The Lord Mayor said: “I am delighted to welcome all those taking part in Oireachtas Rince na Cruinne 2025 and their families to Dublin. The number of competitors travelling to the convention centre is proof of the popularity of Irish dancing both here at home and around the world. I want to wish everyone all the very best of luck, and I hope you enjoy our wonderful city.”

With competitions ranging from traditional team Céilí performances to exhilarating solo dances, there is something for everyone to enjoy. There is rhythm, camaraderie, and unforgettable performances, as the artistry of Irish dance is celebrated.
