What's hot this spring/summer?

Theatre delights

Work is the Curse of the Drinking Classes, Neil Titley’s one man show on the colourful life of Oscar Wilde, a compelling blend of comedy and tragedy.

• Ériu Dance Company will perform Countless Cathleens, its latest exploration of modern Irish dance.

No One Is Coming, Sinead O’Brien’s one-woman show, fuses Irish mythology and dark comedy to explore the issues surrounding mental health.

Musical euphoria

• Galway Musical Society will perform the hugely popular musical Oliver! Consider yourself invited!

Party Scene is a journey into the underbelly of queer culture and experience a sweaty pulsing dance theatre show exploring the complexities of desire, intimacy, isolation and addiction.

• Country music legend Declan Nerney will be performing all his favourites on May 4.

• There are lots of tribute acts to look forward to, from Tom Waits to Tina Turner, including the Muddy River Band, who will perform the songs of Bob Dylan, Neil Young and Van Morrison.

Comedy nights

• There will be a cornucopia of comedy with John Bishop, Ed Byrne, Ger Staunton, Emma Doran, Karl MacDermott, and Shane Daniel Byrne. Get ready for belly laughs galore!
